There comes a time, the end of time for every living thing. People, animals, and plants, especially plants, reach their demise. It is inevitable. The growing seasons of Spring and Summer, give way to the chill death of Fall and Winter. This series represents the death of both the leaves and the season. With that, our own limited nature is soon to be unveiled.—David Morel
Bio
David Morel is a fine art photographer based in Nashville, Tennessee. He has been taking pictures since he was 5 years old and his father introduced him to photography.
With no formal training, he has grown his art through part-time employment as a photographer in college, participating in camera clubs, and attending photo workshops with nationally recognized photographers, including Joe DiMaggio/JoAnne Kalish, Byron Jorjorian, and Jack Spencer.
He has participated in numerous group shows, including showing five images in New York City at the La Maison d’Art Gallery (2013). He had two images in a group exhibit at Gallery One, Nashville, TN (2013), juried by Elizabeth Avedon and Jerry Atnip.
In the last two years he has had solo shows including one at Hot and Cold, Nashville, TN (October 2014), Fido’s, Nashville, TN (January 2015), and most recently atthe Brentwood Public Library, Brentwood,TN (May 2015)

Love the textures… rough, torn edges, faded colors, and shadowed framing. My favorite is the leaf that is almost invisible, ashes to ashes…
