What is your favorite museum for photography?

I admire Foam in Amsterdam. Their commitment to cutting-edge photography is impressive, and there is always something to learn from their programming.

What helped you get through the pandemic?

Long bike rides through previously unknown parts of the five boroughs of New York City.

What was the best book you read/viewed last year?

This is a toss up. I finally read Beloved by Toni Morrison, which was amazing. I also loved Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders. Having read these two books near the same time, and with ghosts in both stories, they will always be connected in my mind.

Be less timid and more bold in all pursuits!
