This collection of images utilizes a combination of still lifes and performative acts to examine both the power and deception of memory. Memory, like photography, is a strange likeness in the shape of the original. My photographs start with the recollection of a specific memory of family which warps into a visual representation. These echoes of the original memories embrace a surreal intimacy through the use of family photographs, inherited objects, and my own body.
