ENTWINED
During my travels, I am grateful for the times of peacefulness that can often be found in parks and gardens of all styles and sizes. The images from these meditative places express appreciation for the natural environment as well as my interest in comparing the artifacts, structures, and design of these locations across diverse cultures. Various themes of this series include the entwinement of nature with signs of the human-made; the process of nature reclaiming its space; the elemental qualities of earth, water, and sky; and the eternal cycle of growth, abundance, and decay. I am also interested in spiritual sites and beliefs, and how they are encountered in these natural settings.
